ID06 for cardholders

This article describes what you as a cardholder need to do to get your new ID06 card.  

If you DO NOT have an approved eID, you can in some cases identify yourself personally with a passport or national ID. 

Go to https://id06.se/english/ and scroll down to Validation of your identity to find which passports and ID documents that are approved for scanning.


Go to https://id06.se/english/ and scroll down to Approved electronic identity services for a list of which eIDs that can be used for verification.

Create account in ID06

To approve a card order and activate your card, you must first create an account in the ID06 portal.

  1. Scan your passport or ID card - if you DO NOT have an eID

  2. Create account in ID06 with passport or national ID - if you DO NOT have an eID

Approve order

Before a card can be produced by Nexus, you must approve the card order.

Email for self-registration

If you have received an email from your employer with information that you shall register your personal data for your ID06 card, follow this instruction:

  1. You will receive an email with a registration link. Click on the link in the email.

  2. Choose whether to register with Swedish BankID or manually, by clicking on one of the links.

  3. If you register with Swedish BankID:

    1. Follow the instructions to approve with Swedish BankID. Your information is automatically filled out in the form.

    2. Enter your Phone number and click Next.

    3. Add a photo. When you are ready, click Next.

    4. If the card is to be sent to a different address than the one specified by your company, such as your home address, click Add delivery address, fill out the form and click Next.

    5. Check the information and click Confirm.

  4. If you register manually:

    1. Fill in your personal information and click Next.

    2. Add a photo. When you are ready, click Next.

    3. If the card is to be sent to a different address than the one specified by your company, such as your home address, click Add delivery address, fill out the form and click Next.

    4. Check the information and click Confirm.

    5. Next you must book a time at Nexus partner Sistec to scan your passport or national ID. For contact information and opening hours, see sistec.se

Activate card

When you have fetched your ID06 card, you must activate it before it can be used.
